Sneak Peek at Evelyn Lozada’s “Livin’ Lozada”
Put away the kiddies, leave work, and go some place private for Rihanna’s visual for BBHMM.
So, I first saw a clip of Game’s new show on IG and of course, IG went crazy because all of the bachelorettes in Game’s new show are light-skinned. Most people who know me, know I am a big fan of Game. As a big fan, I’ve read a few articles and interviews where its been stated that he prefers light-skin women over dark-skinned women. This has never changed my view of him because every one has their preference. I know women who prefer dark-skinned men over light-skinned and vice versa. People want what they want and regardless of what we think, they will continue to want what they want in a mate. Besides, the women who really have a problem with it aren’t going to be dating him anyway, lol.
I like this song because its so melodic. Take a listen and a peek:
Jidenna stated in an interview with The Breakfast Club that he was a rapper, too. I did another YouTube search for him and found this video of him rapping. He has skills! Yep, I’ve fallen in love.
One of my co-workers told me about this song by Ciara from her new album, Jackie, but I just got around to listening to it. I wish I had of heard it sooner. Yep, this is definitely going on my download list for Itunes.
Allow me to introduce you to my new discovery, Jidenna. He is one of Janelle Monae’s artists. This video was originally posted to VEVO in February so I’m late, but I’m here now!
While I believe Janelle Monae has incredible style, I never gave much listen to her music. So while I’m working on this flyer, I put her Vevo Channel in rotation to school myself on her music. I liked this song at first listen and had to share!
So this video has been posted for a week and no one told me….IY YI YI…
I started watching Bad Girls Club after hearing so much about Natalie Nunn. I started watching at Season 11 and have been watching ever since. Jenn and Blu (Jonice) were both two of my favorites from the show so I’m interested to see their lives will play out on their own reality show.
Dawn has always been one of my favorites. She was my favorite from Danity Kane, Diddy Dirty Money and I loved her solo music even more. This song (well, the Titans part), will have to grow on me. I dug the James Dean part at first listen. I had to share this visual though because its freakin’ awesome.
So my roommate started singing this song and asked if I knew it. I knew it sounded familiar, but I didn’t recall Carly Simon singing it because the first time I heard it, Jennifer Lopez was singing it on her This Is Me…Then album. Check out the two versions.
Sorry, but I’m going to give you a spoiler. This sneak peek features Tyson Beckford and my fave from Empire, Jussie Smollett. I’m already loving the song so I can’t wait until the full video is released. Yes, I’m a Lamb!
I’ve always liked Lil’ Mama since her Lip Gloss days. I already knew she was going to excel in the role of Left Eye for the TLC movie, CrazySexyCool so it didn’t shock me when the movie came out. Now, she’s back again with a new single, “Sausage.” I’ve heard a lot about the video on IG and blogs, but had only seen snippets. I figured I would give it a peek.
So a friend suggested I give this song a listen. I liked the lyrics at first listen and we all know Jazmine’s voice is fire. I can see this becoming a fave. Check out the visual:
If you watched the first ever Love & Hip-Hop Wedding (showcasing the nuptials of Yandy Smith and Mendeecees Harris) then you heard K. Michelle sing a song called “Fall for You.” The song is originally by soul singer, Leela James, who is also a star of RnB Divas LA. Check it out below:
