“Walk Away” by Olivia *Official Video*
I have to say that I rocked with Olivia since day one. I remember when Bizounce first came on the radio (107.3 JAMZ) in Greenville and my sister told me, “there’s this girl on the radio singing n***a, f***k you.” LOL! When I heard the song for myself, I was like, this is a good song, a little edgy, but good. Then, “Are U Capable?” came out, which I liked as well. I ended up buying Olivia’s first CD that same year, but never heard anything else from her after those 2 singles.
Then, she popped up in 50 Cent’s “Candyshop,” video. I was like, “yes! She’s back!” However, we all know how that ended. Before I knew it, she was gone from G-Unit without 1 album released. *sad face*
Still, she emerged once again on VH1 in Love & Hip-Hop (LAHH) with a new single, “December,” (one of my favorite songs of all time- real talk). Now, here’s the follow-up, “Walk Away,” which she actally performed in Miami on an episode of LAHH. Check it out:
Olivia gives good advice on GlobalGrind
This isn’t the whole article, but it captured enough to post…this is straight from globalgrind.com:
I dont care who you are or what you are doing. One isn’t going to be successful at anything until they start believing in themselves. If you don’t believe in yourself and your own abilities, you are immediately stunting your growth. This is all easy to say, but having the hardcore belief that not only you can, but you WILL accomplish your goals isn’t an easy task. Everything in the world is weighted against you. The media has put bad news in front of the good. But it is left up to you to use your own vices to develop the self awareness that will bring you to new levels of success. No one is going to step up and hand you success. It has to come from within your heart and soul.
Olivia blogs for GlobalGrind

What’s up yall, its your girl Olivia. I’ve been busy working and touring so I havent had any time off. But I had to take a break to shout out you guys.
I’ve been through a lot of trials, tribulations and rumors, and it’s made me a stronger person; I know this industry a lot better. Everybody wants to know what happened with me and my past situations in this industry. Everything that I’ve been through, I’ve been at labels where people didn’t know what to do with me. When I was at J, I was the VERY first artist signed. So I was the very first artist to be put out which means I was the guinea pig, I was the experimental one. I sold 500,000 when I was over there but in the general public it looks like a failure because they don’t know what happened.
At G-Unit, there were only rap people; not one R&B person, one A&R – everything was rap. So nobody really knew what to do with me. It was a little difficult. I had expressed wanting to leave before because it was like an R&B girl thrown into a rap thing. At that time, who wouldn’t wanna be signed to 50 Cent?! I was more than grateful that he called me and asked me to do it but it’s a stepping stone. I needed that to get to another place, and now I’m in another place where I’m gonna be bigger and better so it’s not like it hurt me.
All the rumors about me are done for a reason; it’s happened to the best of them. It comes with the territory, I gotta take the good with the bad. It only makes you stronger which I am today – today being April 26th, my mixtape Under the Radar was released yesterday on OliviaWorldwide.com. I am so excited.
We’ve got amazing records including Drake on the “Control” record that’s been going crazy, we also have features with Maino, Webstar and Serani. The album Show The World is coming soon; I got Missy Elliot on there, Ne-Yo, Brian Cox. I’m working hard, doing interviews, conference calls, treatments… As I’ve said, I’ve been blessed.
I’m excited and I want YOU to be also, alright?! I wanna tell the fans that I love them so much. The support is wonderful. I get on my website and my twitter @OliviaLongott and the out pour of people and the things they’ll say to me lifts me up. They’ll always tell me to keep my head up, we love you, we’ve heard that new record.
After my situations, one would think people wouldn’t back me as much but it’s like they love me more and they wanna see me. So it’s a good thing for me because I wasn’t expecting that love. God gives you MANY blessings if you stick with your dreams, work hard and keep the faith. My world is getting a lot more perfect now that I’m seeing the fruition of my dreams. I appreciate everyone, thank you so much.
Muah!
