Swizz Beatz + Mashonda: Back to Court…
I’ll be honest- the divorce between producer, Swizz Beatz and Mashonda had me SMH with my mouth wide open at the same time. Not only did Alicia Keys become accused of being a homewrecker- but then Twitter became the place for Mashonda to voice her concerns to Miss Keys. Well, although the divorce is final, word is that Mashonda is sending Swizz back to court because he’s supposedly 334,000 late in payments. According to the article on nypost.com, the breakdown in payments is this: 325,000 stacks in equitable distribution and 9,000 in alimony and child support. However, Swizz says those figures are inaccurate and that he is going “above and beyond” to provide for Mashonda and their son. He also stated that he gave Mashonda 700,000 big ones up front. DAYUMMS!
Well, they are supposed to be headed back to court over the whole matter next month…we’ll see how this pans out.
Diddy + Nicki Minaj…Behind the scenes of “Hello Good Morning”
So with Nicki Minaj’s wig (or weave- i can’t tell which one it is)…this got her another comparison to Lil’ Kim.

Kid Cudi clears up Jim Jonsin statement….
Peep this blog post by Kid Cudi from kidcudi.com where he clears up the rumor that he’s working on a record with kanYe that samples a Duran Duran song…
POSTED: 11.05.10
ima need everyone to please disregard what you may have heard from Jim Jonsin’s recent interview. i got mad love for jim but he was misinformed. there is no kanye x kid cudi duran duran song, id sample a 90s record before a 80s record anyday AND when i worked with jim, i hadnt even started sessions with plain pat and emile yet so the direction of my album was yet to be determined. we did cut one record but since the album theme change im still not sure if ima use it or not. the story flows well with out it so its pretty much up in the air. my album sounds nothing like youve ever heard before and cant be describe to be honest. like MOTM, its one of a kind and very VERY honest. ALSO no disrespect to B.o.B., hes a homie of mine and extremely talented but i feel my work cant really be compared to anyone elses. i pride myself on what i create and i will make sure you are all pleased with it.
fans and press: wait for me to make official statements about my music before you believe other wise. ill start spilling the beans on this new glorious fucker really soon.thanx, cud and management
step your cookies up before they crumble!
While I was doing my quick browse through the net, I saw this headline about Tila Tequila supposedly giving Amber Rose some advice on how to keep her name ringing (she did this through a post on her blog site, misstilaomg.com). Nicki Minaj once said in a rhyme, “step your cookies up before they crumble,” and I guess this is the message that Tila is trying to spread to Amber. check out the blog post straight from misstilaomg.com…btw, VSN means Vogue Side Note.
Okay… for the record.. I got mad love for my girl Amber Rose. VSN: Wow, and this is the first thing you say right before you GO in on her! We met last summer at P. Diddy’s “WHITE PARTY” and she’s a pretty down ass ghetto chick from Philly, which I love! Shit — I’m a down-ass-ghetto-chic from Houston myself!! However as a Gossip Blogger, I cannot be bias just cuz someone is my “FRIEND” I must report my unbiased opinion no matter how messed up it may seem! (that’s what’s missing in the blog world today anyway right?!) VSN: Well, you are going to be bias if their your friend unless you really feel that their starlight is fading. However, as a friend, you would probably tell them to their face or over the phone instead of putting it on the internet for the whole world to see. Now, people are looking for some rebuttal from Amber unless you’ve already explained to her that this is way to garner more ppl to your blog. I’ll be honest, I didn’t even know Tila had her own blog site until this story broke–I thought I stayed in the KNOW!
My question is – is Amber Rose starting to loose her PEDALS? I remember when she first stepped out with Kanye West a while ago, she was in EVERY tabloid, and EVERY magazine! However in 2010, you don’t hear much about Amber Rose anymore. Does anyone care about her anymore???? Has her height of fame reached it’s peak?? VSN: I care about Amber Rose, however, I want to hear about her in a positive light with the latest endorsements she’s doing or modeling projects instead of some drama. I think she’s going to be around for a long time and I’m not being bias because she’s dating kanYe (who I absolutely adore) and guess what…I don’t know her from Adam so I’m not saying this because she’s a friend!
I don’t know, but me personally, I haven’t heard much about her in the tabloids. I think her haydays are about to be over if she doesn’t do something quick! VSN: The last thing I remember hearing about Tila is that she was on Twitter talking about Game being her baby’s father and he went straight to TMZ to clean up that rumor. Then, these recent pics of her blonde hair caught my eye. I mean kiss a girl in public, slap Yeezy, proclaim your love for Oprah! Anything, if this is the game you want to play, play it like a Kardashian (well, you don’t have to be that desperate!)
I also think she looks like she gained a bit of weight in this pic. Maybe she can be in “Precious 2″ or “Celebrity Fit Club” I’m just throwing some ideas around. LOL! VSN: Even if Amber gained 20 lbs, shoot, she probably still be in shape, maybe not by industry standards because according to one supermodel, you’re considered plus size if you’re an 8 in the modeling biz- dayumms! But for realz, this is a pic of her taken while shopping on Roberston Blvd. in Los Angeles. I mean, Amber Rose was always known for her thick and sexy body, but right now, I think she has gained some weight. Hmmmm…maybe Kanye has something to do with it? Everyone is saying that he is unable to share the spotlight with anyone … and Amber used to be the one the paparazzi would go gaga over … now it’s actually Lady Gaga! Maybe he reeled her in and let her know she was arm candy only!
Anyway, that’s just my opinion. Amber, you still my girl, but milk it as much as you can while you’re still here, cuz in the Hollywood world, one minute you’re hot shit, and the next, they don’t even remember your name. So my advice to you? Start up a business, start a perfume line, pitch a tv show, or DO SOMETHING aside from just being Kanye’s girl. Word is your ass needs more media training … get some! Date Reggie Bush, he’s single now and more man than Kanyeezy will evah be! Or HOLLA AT ME BIATCH!
Yeah I took a shot at you Amber, but for your own good!
Muah!
Love
Miss Tila
PS- So what do you guys think? Amber Rose fading from spotlight or still hot? Is she better off with or without Kanye? And do you agree with me that she should Milk it while she’s still hot??? What is YOUR opinions on this? Has she gained weight?????

Styles P enters into the literary world…
here’s a description of the novel from amazon.com:
Jake Billings is usually cool under pressure, but when two stick-up kids rob his record store, Jake opens fire on them, landing him in prison. Five days in, he receives an anonymous letter telling him that his days are numbered. But before he can find out who’s behind the threats, Jake is stabbed and ends up in a coma.
When he wakes in a hospital bed two years later, things have changed: His prison sentence has been commuted, his girlfriend is fiercely independent, and his side piece has gotten out of the street life altogether. But one thing remains: Jake’s enemy still wants him dead and is powerful enough to track him down no matter where he hides.
On the run, and with rumors circulating about a powerful, phantomlike gang called the 300 Crew, Jake will need to rely on his mantra: Trust no one—not the law, not his girl, not the street cats he helped out years ago, not even his own blood.

Lawrence Taylor….SMH
Okay, so I intentionally did not post anything regarding this story until further details were revealed. After watching his 3rd wife’s (Lynette) interview with The Insider, I figured it was time to head to the blog. Okay, so the deal is this, according to the complaint that was filed, Lawrence admitted to paying a 16 year old girl, $300 dollars for sexual acts. However, it also states that the girl told him she was 19. I honestly believe that a 16 year girl can look like a 25 year old woman these days so its no shock to me that he didn’t ask her for ID.
Now, as far as him being charged with statutory rape, he only got that charge because of her age. However, at the age of 16, I honestly believe that this girl is old enough to know the difference between right and wrong. She’s also old enough to make her own choices. Now, I don’t know what her mental state is so there is a chance that she wasn’t able to fully consent if she’s schizophrenic (not trying to be funny, but this could be the case). Or, it may very well be that everything was consensual and she was a prostitute merely making her dollars. Since she “got it in” with a celeb then it is of no surprise to me that she went running her jaws (I don’t mean this in the NC-17 sense– my books may be R-rated, but I’m trying to keep the blog clean)
However, after watching the interview with The Insider and Lynette, I think his wife is in denial. She doesn’t believe that her husband actually had sex with the “victim.” HUH???? Even after he told people that he engaged in sexual acts and paid her $300? What was he paying $300 for if he ain’t getting nothing out the deal???
WELL, after doing a search on the latest news regarding the incident, there’s a story on wgntv.com about how a friend of the “victim” has now told investigators that the girl was lying about the whole thing. read this excerpt straight from the article…
SUFFERN, N.Y. (WPIX) – The 16-year-old prostitute, who claimed to have sex with ex-Giant Lawrence Taylor, has reportedly told a friend that the encounter was “easy money” because she “didn’t even have to f— him.”
According to investigators, the friend, who drove the teenage prostitute to meet Taylor late at night on Wednesday, May 5, told police that “they didn’t have sex, she’s lying and he’s innocent.”
well, i’ll be…that snippet of the article was posted today and written by Shelley NG on the news site. however, yesterday, there was a different story posted on nydailynews.com. In this story, Taylor is reported as saying that he never touched the girl, but touched himself (okay, this goes with the report that wgntv.com gave)…then the victim is reported as saying that she definitely had sex with him (okay, someone obviously doesn’t know what went on)…geez…which story is the truth? i guess we’ll have to see how this pans out in court.
Game talks about 400 Bars…
the transcript of this interview is straight from hurricane-game.net…
Dewey: Talk about the inspiration for 400 Bars. It took stamina just to listen to 400 Bars.
Oh yeah, of course, definitely.
The inspiration for 400 Bars? I’m just gonna give it to my fans, man. They’ve been asking for it for a long time, and I never thought that it would see the light of day, simply because I figured to do 400 Bars I’d have to have as many topics as possible, to keep people entertained. I knew what I was up against.
I’m not really beefing and I don’t really have any drama going on, so I kind of strayed away from it for a while, but then I was in the studio one night, and I already had the original 400 Bars started. I was like 200 Bars in, but I never finished it, and I always wondered what the reason was I couldn’t finish it. And number one, it was because I wasn’t beefing with who I was beefing, I was picking on people. Because I wasn’t really getting mad at anybody I was getting mad at, I was just picking on people. I won’t say any names but that’ll probably never see the light of day. So I never finished that.
Then one day I was in the studio working with Snoop, and he left, he rolled so many blunts my name could’ve been Canibus after he was gone. We started running through instrumentals, man, and then “Exhibit C” came on, and I was like, Wow, I gotta do a freestyle for this, for the tape. I started off wanting to do, like, maybe 40 or 50 bars. I looked up and asked my engineer, Yo, how many bars was that? And he was like, 120. So when he said that, I was like, Wow, 120 that fast. Let’s go. We gonna make this to 400. So that’s what we did.
It took me 10 more hours in the booth and pretty much 24 hours at the studio, to really get it done and mixed down, and every time we bounce it down, and I hear something wrong, we have to go all the way back and rebounce the whole 20-minute song. So that was the process, man. I definitely give it to my fans.
So as soon as you came along something in those 400 bars that you weren’t 100 percent pleased with, you rewound all the way back to the beginning and started again?
Yeah, man, I had to keep on going back because I wanted every bar to have a marriage to the next one. So when I messed up or stopped, I had to go all the way back to the beginning and start again. I got it down after, jeez, like a full 26, 27 hours in the studio. Then I rode home to it, and I had a couple problems with how it was mixed, so I called my engineer Jeff. He did his thing and sent it back and it was a wrap. But every time I listen, or every time I hear something, or see if there’s something to edit, I gotta go through 20 minutes of the song. I started getting tired. I was like, Lemme just put it out, man. So I threw it out on the Internet via Twitter.
So the first 120 bars — I don’t want to say they came together by themselves, but the other 280 bars, you wrote those in the studio during those 26, 27 hours?
I didn’t really write it. I was in the booth, standing up. Every time I would finish, I would just sit there with the beat playing, think for a minute, and then I’d be like, Yo, I’m ready. He’d start recording and we’d go from there. We did that probably 10, 20 bars a time, through the entire freestyle.
Parade.com interviews Queen Latifah
Check out this interview/article with Queen Latifah, straight from parade.com:
“I didn’t even see the damn glass ceiling. I just pushed up through it. I was the type of girl who fell on my face early. I learned how it felt to get rejected and get back up and dust myself off. I knew what it was to give it your all and find a way to work through it,” Latifah says.
Queen Latifah loves basketball, a sport that taught her how to play the game of life. Now, in Just Wright, the die-hard New York Nets fan gets to cheer for her favorite team and fall in love with the star player (played by rapper Common, in his first leading romantic role).
Latifah remembers the downside of growing up on the court. “I didn’t even know what a ‘tomboy’ was until people started calling me that,” she says. “I was like, ‘I’m not a boy.’ But I was a fighter. So it didn’t matter what they called me, I was always gonna kick butt and take names. My mom was very supportive and she said, ‘You’re not a tomboy. You’re just sports inclined.’
Helping Common live up to his hunky image.
“There were certain scenes where I was like, ‘Man, you’re that dude. Girls throw their selves all over you. Be that dude!’ Sometimes I would just pump him up, like gas, because he’s so humble. I’m like, man, ‘F that! You can turn back to that other guy after we finish filming.'” SN: If I could’ve, I would’ve been right there amping up Common to. Does anyone remember his Gap ad when he’s lifting up his shirt? Oooh la la!
As for their moment of on-screen passion.
“That’s what the movie is all about. It’s all about me having the opportunity to be in bed with Common. I mean, what’s this all for if I can’t hook that up? No, I’m just kidding. But it’s not a bad day of work. I just want everybody to know that we didn’t go for an R-rating.”
Sexy is in the eye of the beholder.
“I’ve always believed it’s not always what you look like, it’s who you are on the inside. Beauty from the inside out is something that I can connect with because that’s where you get your integrity and confidence.” SN: True statement. You can be the prettiest woman in the world, but if you don’t have a personality, what good is beauty?

XXLmag.com interviews Game
so by now you should have noticed that I love Game…LOL :-0)…this is straight from xxlmag.com:
XXLMag.com: What’s going to be different about this album?
Game: Well, overall I just feel like it’s my best work to date. I’ve sold millions of albums; I don’t really have anything to prove to anybody or anything so I’m not looking for that. But I think people will listen to The R.E.D. Album and see all of what I put into it.
XXLMag.com: You have a lot of high profile guests lined up. Who were you most excited to work with?
Game: Justin Timberlake. The song I did with him is probably going to be a single. It was amazing to get a chance to work with him. Jay [Electronica] came through and did a verse at the spur of the moment. We missed getting Nicki [Minaj] on there. Things just didn’t come together for that. I wanted her on there, though.
XXLMag.com: How was it working with Dre and Pharrell in the studio together?
Game: It works well. I worked with Dre on a few songs and Pharrell is the executive producer of the project. He did the bulk of the tracks. Cool & Dre is on there, too. They did “Shake.” You’re gonna get [Swizz Beatz], The Hitboyz, and Timbaland, too.
XXLMag.com: How is it different working in the studio with Dre than Pharrell?
Game: You just work and work and work with Dre. You don’t even know what you’re working on. (Laughs) But he’s a perfectionist and I respect his work ethic. He’s a legend. With Pharrell we laid back, ordering pizzas, chillin’, completely different but we still get shit done because he’s a beast, too. With them having my back, I can’t go wrong.
XXLMag.com: How many songs did Dre produce on this album?
Game: I have no idea. I’m not sure which songs will be on [The R.E.D. Album] yet. We just worked on a gang of shit. Altogether there were like a thousand songs recorded for this album. A thousand! I got songs for days.
XXLMag.com: Yeah, like “400 Bars.” You went at a few people on there, too. What happened to having a drama free 2010?
Game: Aw man the shit I said on “400 Bars” about 50 and G-Unit ain’t even like dissin’ to me. That’s nothing. That just is what it is. People too serious and uptight. Those were just jokes. It’s ongoing with them, though.
XXLMag.com: But didn’t you have Twitter beef with Alchemist and Jay Rock, too?
Game: People just hyping shit up. [Al] know what it is though and with Jay Rock, to be honest, I didn’t even know that that was Jay Rock that had even said the Cube thing. So when I said what I said on the track I wasn’t thinking about him specifically.
XXLMag.com: What do you think about what Cube was saying like, basically that it’s not his responsibility to put anyone on?
Game: I mean, do you think it’s his responsibility? Because I don’t think so. People have to pay their dues. I paid my dues and they gotta do the same. —Brooklyne Gipson
